Alecxandra Crawford is a queer interdisciplinary Filipino artist based in Portland, Oregon. His work spans across a vast range of mediums, but he has a particular fondness for scentwork, watercolour, and tattoo. Driven by his desire to tap into the primordial parts of our brains, he explores themes of race, gender, sexuality, and transformation, which he draws from his cultural heritage, personal narrative, and the rhythms of everyday life by engaging his audience through immersive, multi-sensory installations that challenge and engage their senses beyond just the visual by incorporating olfactory art into his visual practice.
